Macro!

Hey, everybody! So, I had a lot of fun last night trying to get some macro pictures for Digital-Photography-School.com's weekly photo challenge. I grabbed my dad's wedding band, my purity ring, and a Bible. :) I LOVE playing with shadows that rings create! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from last night!

 Purity it priceless!

In my last post, I posted this picture in black and white. However, I LOVE it in color, too. I decided to show it to you in color today. :)

You probably noticed that I am working on my watermark. =)  I'm definately having fun working on it, and I'm not done yet!

Tomorrow I'm heading to Arkansas to visit a prison ministry, Prison to Purpose. I'm getting back Thursday night, so keep your eyes peeled for a blog post in a week or so! Unfortunately, I can't take my camera into the prison, but I will definately take pictures of anything and everything outside the prison! :)  God bless!

I Love: ~B&W~

This is a post I've been looking foward to getting up for a while! I love Black & White Photography; black and white photographs speak so loudly even though they are so simple. There's just something about them!

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to our property out in Terrell for the day just to hang out and cut firewood. I grabbed my camera on the way out, and I knew that I wanted to get some black and white images out of the day! I couldn't decide which ones to post, but I finally picked five. One day I hope to have a big gallery with a whole room designated for black and white photographs. But until then, my blog works really well. :)  Enjoy!

I Love: ~My Family~

I hope you had an exciting first week of the year as you anticipated all that might happen in 2011. I'm excited to see where God's going to take me this year and what He's going to show me!

Anyway, I'm back to blogging!!! I missed blogging over the holidays, so I'm excited to get this post up! So, yesterday I decided to have fun around the house with my new lens that I got for Christmas. In this post, you'll get to know more about me as the oldest of eleven kids. :)  I hope you enjoy looking at these pics as much as I enjoyed taking them!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the oldest of eleven kids, I see a lot of faces every day, and they are all very different. There may be resemblances, but still everybody is unique. (This my brother John.)

We've had a baby in the family for as long as I can remember. Actually, we've always had a baby in the family since the time I was born (18 years ago). So, this style of artwork is very predominant around my house.

My parents have raised us in such a way that we are hearing God's Word every day. There's nothing as fulfilling as God's Word!

Music is another thing that my parents submerged us in. During the beginning years, we begged our parents to let us stop lessons, but they told us that it would build diligence and other vital character qualities. I'm so grateful for being given this skill.

This is one measure of one of my favorite pieces to play--O Worship the King.

Granny Smith apples are one of the family's favorite fruits!

When feeding thirteen people, you have to buy in bulk. There is over a cup of sugar left in this jar, and between baking and sweet tea, it won't be there much longer.

Names have to be put on everything around my house, from t-shirts to toys to plastic cups.

Yesterday, we just laughed as two of my brothers sat down with plates heaped with doughnuts (and one banana).

Just some fun basketball pictures:

We got a basketball goal for Christmas from my grandparents. :)

These little army men are my brothers' favorite toys. They call them "Dramatics." (I don't know why.) :)

And this is my picture for Digital-Photography-School.com's weekly challenge. (I hope to post all of my weekly challenge pictures this year!)

COLD:

Tell me, does this say "cold" to you? I'd love to get feedback!

So, that was just a little about my family. Life would be boring to me without ten siblings. I hope you enjoyed! And please don't forget to give me some feedback. :)
