Awesome Brothers Require Awesome Lighting

Last night, I had an itch to play with lighting.

I persuaded one of my brothers to model for me, but they're all clowns.

They can't resist the temptation to get in front of the camera and do something goofy or dramatic.

So, I ended up doing five sets of portraits!

Grace+Guitar=Happiness {McKinney/Frisco Portrait Photographer}

I was super excited about doing this shoot! I got up

at 5:30 this morning (huge for me :) ) to be able to get everything done I needed to before

going on this shoot. Grace and I decided last night around eleven o'clock that we wanted to do a "musician shoot" this week. Well, we had stuff on the calendar during every other

Golden Hour this week except for this morning. :)

Anyway, Readers, meet Grace. Grace, meet Readers. :)

Grace is a fun sister, and she loves music and singing! She has a great voice,

and she is currently teaching herself guitar. She has played violin and piano, so she's

pretty music-savvy, although she likes playing by ear mostly. :)

Besides music, Grace loves videography, photo-editing, graphic design,

and anything digital. We can always count on her to figure out a new software program

in a short amount of time (with no manual).

Grace l.o.v.e.s hats! Wanna make her the happiest person

in the world? Buy her a hat! :)  She looks really good in them, too!

One of Grace's favorite songs is "I Can Only Imagine" by MercyMe. It's

probably my favorite song, too.

Grace had always wanted a guitar since she was

inspired by Dad (the world's greatest dad, vocalist, and guitar-player). She

finally got one for Christmas a few years ago!

Awesome Friend {Angelina}

Last week, a friend of mine and I went to visit the ministry Prison to Purpose. God taught us so much in that brief week. We cried together, laughed together, drank coffee together, took pictures together, talked, shared, encouraged, etc. We are very different--she's Canon, I'm Nikon; she has short hair, I have long; she has brown eyes, I have blue; and the list goes on and on. But we both share a common thread: a love for Jesus and desire to follow Him.

We also both share a of love for photography. Over the ten days we spent together, we did several photo shoots, meaning I got a lot of pictures (too many to post at once). So, I decided to post pictures of Angelina's (aka Babbs') beautiful face today. :)

 Airport boredom. :/

I met Babbs at a girl's finishing school over a year ago, and I hadn't seen her since then. So I was really excited to find out that we were going to be going to prison together! After our week at prison, we flew back to Texas to hang out for a few days. She is so much fun and I miss her!
