Spring, Spring, Spring

I love springtime in Texas. Everything is green, there are monster thunderstorms, and it's warm! Yesterday, I jumped out of the truck, leaving my dad and brother and sisters, to get a picture of this tree. It's a popular tree, but that's something that is cool about photography: With one tree, you can have a ton of unique pictures with different feels, looks and styles because of creative angles, lighting, etc. So, you've probably already seen pictures of this tree on other photographers' blogs, but this one hopefully looks a little different. :)

Meet Freckles {Four-Legged, Furry Friend}

I just wanted to introduce y'all to Freckles, my mom's Cockalier. Freckles adores

my mom, and she is ALWAYS by her side. When Mom leaves, Freckles is sitting near the garage door

waiting for Mom to get home. Freckles was pretty much a rescue dog, so for

the first few months she was scared to death of some 

people in my family. But, Mom was patient with her, and now everybody loves her (and

she loves everybody). :)
